Bangla Jobs – Employer Terms & Conditions

1. Job Posting Services

• 1.1 Paid Listings: Access to post job vacancies on the Site is subject to the purchase of a Job Posting Package. All fees must be paid in advance via our secure payment gateway.
• 1.2 Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content of your job advertisements. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and non-discriminatory information regarding the role, salary, and requirements.
• 1.3 Duration: Job postings will remain active for the duration specified in your chosen package (e.g., 30 days) unless manually closed by you.

2. Fees and Refund Policy

• 2.1 Non-Refundable Services: All purchases of job posting packages are final.
• 2.2 Performance Disclaimer: Bangla Jobs is a listing platform, not a recruitment agency or an "employee filling service." We do not guarantee a specific number of views, applications, or successful hires.
• 2.3 Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be issued in the event of a verified system-wide technical failure that prevents your job from being displayed on the Site for more than 48 consecutive hours.
• 2.4 Passkey Authentication: If you choose to configure a cryptographic "Passkey" (Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello) to authenticate with BanglaJobs, you represent that you are the sole authorized, registered biometric user of that specific hardware device.
• 2.5 Biometric Privacy Safeguard: BanglaJobs does not collect, transmit, or store your biometric data (such as fingerprint scans or facial mapping) on our servers. Biometric verification is performed locally and securely in isolated hardware on your device using the open WebAuthn standard. Only a public key signature is transmitted to us.
• 2.6 Shared Devices Warning: You must not register or save a Passkey on any public, communal, or shared computer (such as in public library hubs, internet cafes, or communal workspaces). Doing so may allow subsequent users of that hardware profile to instantly log into and access your private dashboard.
• 2.7
  No Refunds for:

  • Lack of candidate response or "poor quality" applicants.
  • Change of mind after a post has gone live.
  • Deletion of a post by the Employer before the package expiration.
  • Removal of a post by Bangla Jobs due to a breach of these Terms.

3. Candidate Vetting and Right to Work

• 3.1 Employer Duty: You acknowledge that Bangla Jobs does not vet, interview, or verify the identity or legal status of any Candidate.
• 3.2
  Legal Compliance: It is your sole responsibility to conduct all necessary pre-employment checks, including but not limited to:

  • Verifying the Candidate's Right to Work in the UK (Visa and Residential status).
  • Verifying educational qualifications and employment history.
  • Conducting DBS or background checks where applicable.
• 3.3 Liability: Bangla Jobs Ltd shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or legal penalty arising from an Employer hiring an individual who does not have the legal right to work or who is otherwise unsuitable for the role.

4. Data Protection (GDPR)

• 4.1 Data Access: By using the platform, you may receive access to Candidate personal data (CVs, contact details). You agree to process this data strictly in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• 4.2 Confidentiality: You must not share Candidate data with third parties without the Candidate's express consent.
• 4.3 ICO Compliance: As a registered entity (ICO: C1890156), we reserve the right to suspend any Employer account suspected of mishandling Candidate data.

5. Prohibited Job Posts

We reserve the right to remove any job post without a refund if it:

• Is misleading, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
• Requires the Candidate to pay a "registration fee" or "training fee" to apply.
• Is for a "Multi-Level Marketing" (MLM) or pyramid scheme.
• Contains discriminatory language (in breach of the Equality Act 2010).

6. Limitation of Liability

• 6.1 Bangla Jobs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or business interruption arising from your use of the platform.
• 6.2 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific job posting package in question.

7. Governing Law

These Employer Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
